Special Thanks to Kennesaw State University for Their Support (And for Putting Up with Us)

Kennesaw State University (hoo hoo)

This year, we’re excited to have such a groundswell of support from around our own Kennesaw State University. As the college we call home has continued to expand, so has the breadth and depth of the courses offered. Whether you’re straight out of high school, looking to snag that advanced degree or furthering your career goals, this year’s SoCon12 sponsors likely have a course for you:

  • Integrated Global Communications: Part of the Kennesaw State University Department of Communication, a new Master of Arts in Integrated Global Communication is a 16-month, contemporary graduate program that is like no other in Georgia or the Southeast. The MAIGC features an innovative curriculum divided into three modules: two semesters of classroom work in the evenings, a summer international experience, and a final fall consisting of a colloquium and professional project. The M.A. in Integrated Global Communication: preparing a new generation of leaders in globally integrated organizations.
  • Conflict Management: Conflict management is the practice of identifying opposing goals and implementing strategies to increase the positive impacts of conflict, while minimizing the negative, more destructive aspects. Managing conflict in a way that takes advantage of the opportunities to improve individual and organizational outcomes, effectiveness, and performance is key. The Master of Science in Conflict Management is a 16-month, executive degree program, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to thrive in today’s challenging environments.
  • Continuing Education: Cutting-edge course work for individuals planning to re-enter the workforce, change careers, or add to their portfolio of skills is the specialty of the College of Continuing and Professional Education at Kennesaw State University. The College has produced its first digital catalog featuring the more than 300 classes offered online. See The Course Online. Check out Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization—both essential skills in today’s business.
Thanks, again, to our home-town heroes at Kennesaw State University!
